For over a decade, Emily Current and Meritt Elliott have been styling together as the team MAUDE for top publications and celebrities alike. Drawn to one another’s innate fashion sense, Emily and Meritt first met in college and quickly realized the fresh and fearless aesthetic they shared - they believe in individuality, dressing without rules and mixing high and low with confidence and flair.

While scouring high and low across the denim market for both editorial shoots and for themselves, Emily and Meritt were tired of being unable to find the type of styles they wanted to wear. As a result, they started buying vintage jeans and tailoring them to a more modern fit.
